Dr. Toni launched My Sister’s Keeper Foundation out of a deep desire to coach and develop women in their educational, personal, and professional lives. As a young woman discovering her own passion and calling, she learned the importance of mentors and peer support in identifying and reaching your dreams.
Dr. Toni is a Certified Leadership Coach and Consultant through Lifeforming Leadership Coaching, Inc. She has written articles and participated in many interviews and documentaries on the topics of Coaching and Mentoring Relationships, Leadership, Marriage and Family and Women in Ministry. She has written two books, Run and Not be Weary – The Pursuit of Purpose and Destiny, and A Woman’s Heart Devotional Journal. She holds a Master of Divinity from the Church of God Theological Seminary, a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Regent University, an Advanced Theological Masters Degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a candidate for the Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Toni is a wife and mother of three dynamic teenagers, Johnathan II, Joshua and Ariel Alvarado. Presently she serves as Co-Pastor of Grace Church International with her husband, Bishop Johnathan E. Alvarado and Dean of Students and professor at Greater Atlanta Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia.
